According to relevant data, Beijing discharges more than 35 million tons of construction waste every year, while the recycling rate is less than 30%. Therefore, construction waste recycling industry has large improvement space. Construction waste can be used to produce high quality aggregate after being processed scientifically. This project undertaken by Shougang Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. is one of the first model projects, and in the future it will become the environmental center of Beijing City, which combines construction waste recycling and technical research.
Shougang Environmental Industry Co., Ltd. built the first concrete waste recycling project in Beijing, namely city resource recycling center with the area around 99,900 square meters. It is designed to recycle 1 million tons of construction waste every year, it can save about 66,600 square meters of land compared with the traditional burning method. The recycled aggregates can be used as construction materials and can replace the traditional aggregates completely.
